12″ Russian Bisque Porceline Doll from the 1920’s. These dolls were made during the Soviet Era in the St. Petersberg region and earlier in Sergiev Posad during the early 20th Century. The boy is dressed in a Ukraine style costume and has glass inset eyes.
The doll was originally displayed in a museum in New Mexico. I would purchase him from a Canton, Texas seller at the Blue Bonnet Bebe Doll Show & Sale in 2012.
