7″ Cloth 1958 Maria Helena Portugese Lady. A similar doll in Linda Jean Frame’s “Folk and Foreign Costume Dolls” is described as a little girl representing a heroine who saved her town. (So far I have been unable to find the story.)
I purchased the doll in 2006 from a seller in Birmingham, Alabama.
