Eunice Malley’s Japanese Dolls

two-maley-japanese-childrenmaley-japanese-back4 1/2″ Oyster Shell 1930’s Japanese Children. The dolls originally belonged to Eunice Malley, a former co-worker of mine. She received the dolls when she was a little girl. The dolls were a gift from some cousins who were living in Japan before the war. Eunice shared she was very excited when she thought she had Japanese cousins. She was disappointed to learn later that they were American cousins who were living in Japan. Eunice would give me the dolls in 1979.
