2 1/2″ Metal English Military Figures. The figures were made by British Ltd. of Walthamstow, London-E17, England. The company has been in business since the late 1800’s and made lead figures and then gradually turned all their figures into plastic. Now they are making metal figures again. The company goes to great pains to be sure each figure is 100% authentic. Each figure stands approximately 2 1/2 to 3″s high and they are created at a 1:32 scale.
I received the set as a gift from my father in 1974 and he purchased them from Miniature Toys Inc.-Post Office Draw E, Westborough, Massachusetts.
