The doll came with a little story pamphlet with the following information: ” Ilse Ludecke Trachtenpuppen Schwetzinger Deutschland Schlosplatz Ertprinzen Sonya. ” The pamphlet goes on to talk about the history of the Ukraine. The final sentence states that Sonya is dancing the Kolomeika, the Ukrainian national dance. It is then signed Ilse. I purchased the doll in 1984 at the Little Red School House Doll Shop in Houston, Texas.
