12″ Wooden Door of Hope Boy. The Door of Hope series of dolls were made by Chinese girls at the Door of Hope Christian Mission in Shanghai, China in the 1930’s and 1940’s. Kimport Dolls was one of the sources for these beautifully made dolls. This doll came originally from an estate sale and I would purchase him in 2010 from a seller in Poulsbo, Washington.
