Andrej: Kimport Bulgarian Man

8″ Wooden Andrej: A Dancing Bulgarian Man. The following description came with the doll:

“Bulgarian man with wooden base, wire armature body that is posable, wooden dowel head and hand painted features. He wears typically Balkan white woolen cossack cap, high necked, long sleeved white shirt with embroidered front, broad red sash, and black trousers to just below the knees. He has leather slippers with white and black stockings, a tarboosh (hat) and carbatines (shoes).”

I purchased the doll in 1974 from Kimport Dolls.
