Eisenhower’s First Inaugural Ball. The gown was designed by Nettie Rosenstein of New York. Mrs. Eisenhower’s friendly manner and ready smile endeared her to the American people. She enjoyed living in the White House, being the wife of the President, and serving as the First Lady of the Land.

Every detail, from the hand casting of the porcelain and the painting of the facial expression, to the detailing of the garments, is historically accurate according to the Smithsonian Museum Standards.
