The doll came with the following information:” Mamie Doud Eisenhower was dressed in pink, her favorite color, at President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s First Inaugural Ball. The gown was designed by Nettie Rosenstein of New York. Mrs. Eisenhower’s friendly manner and ready smile endeared her to the American people. She enjoyed living in the White House, being the wife of the President, and serving as the First Lady of the Land. 

Certificate of Authenticity: It is hereby certified that this limited edition doll was created of the highest quality materials for the First Ladies Collection. Every detail, from the hand casting of the porcelain and the painting of the facial expression, to the detailing of the garments, is historically accurate according to the Smithsonian Museum Standards. I purchased the doll in 2009 from a seller in Mt. Morris, Michigan.
