19″ Vinyl Chatty Cathy Reproduction Doll. Cathy was reissued by Ashton Drake in 2004, in “Her Party Dress” This doll was the first issue in the four doll collection and came with the following information:

And as a result, thousands of little girls were lucky enough to find Catty Cathy (TM) tucked under their Christmas tree in the early 1960’s. Those grown-up girls have a soft spot for ChattyCathy(TM) in their hearts even today (as well as happy memories of pulling the “magic ring” to make her talk!) After all these years, now’s your chance to welcome back a favorite friend-in four different versions of the original Chatty Cathy (TM) vinyl doll-as part of our special Ashton Drake Chatty Cathy (TM) Memories collection. Your collection starts with Chatty Cathy in “Her Party Dress”. This blonde, blue-eyed doll has the familar details you remember: a sweet face, turned-up nose, sculpted front teeth and freckles. Her party gress is light gingham with a fancy eyelet pinafore-which is today, one of the hardest-to-find doll outfits. She’s a collector-quality replica in every way…and she talks! The rest of the collection consisted of: Brunette Chatty Cathy (TM) in “Her Playtime Outfit”, Red Hair Chatty Cathy (TM) in “Her Sunny Day Outfit”, and Brunette Chatty Cathy (TM) in “Her Sunday Visit Outfit.”
I purchased my Cathy in 2004 directly from Ashton Drake.
