Denis Bastien’s 11″ Vinyl Lenny by Affordable Designs of Ottawa, Canada. Lenny was the souvenir doll for The North Shore Doll Club Luncheon held in Covington, Louisiana in 2010. The theme of Lenny’s costume was ” From China with Love”and the luncheon theme was Oriental Odyssey. One of the guest speaker was Jean Kestel, who gave a slide show and talk on the Door of Hope Mission dolls and their history. The luncheon also featured Margo Delaughter, who gave a talk on Michael Lee dolls and Cynthia Orgeron, who gave a talk on Ada Lum dolls. I received the doll as a luncheon souvenir and purchased the costume directly from Mr. Bastien at the luncheon.
