7 1/2″ Porcelain Woman from the Kalmykia region of Russia. The people from this region are Tibetan Buddhist and are known for their champion chess players. The region is situated south of the Volga on the north-western shores of the Caspian Sea and its’ capital is Elista.
I purchased the doll in 2013 directly from a seller in Dneprodzerzhinsk, Ukraine. Seller shared that this doll series is made in St. Petersberg, Russia.
