23″ Porcelain Annie by Linda Mason from the Bonnie Lasses Collection for Paradise Galleries of San Diego, California.
The doll comes with a brochure which provided the following information: ” Open your heart to Annie, a winsome colleen wandered out of the Irish hills of yesterday. Crafted from the fine bisque porcelain, she comes complete with a 18-note musical movement which plays everyone’s Irish favorite, “Danny Boy”. Annie’s wistful green eyes gaze longingly, back to another time and place. Copper curls flow almost to her waist. Her costume is nostalgia itself in moss green velvet and Irish lace. Every detail is a wondrous surprise, from her bouquet of pale peach roses and pussy willows to her stylist parasol. Annie is individually hand numbered on the back of her neck. The artist signature of approval is engraved on her back.”
