(Mordwa or Mordovian are the members of a group of Mordvinic speaking peoples who live mainly in the Republic of Mordovia and other parts of the middle Volga River region of Russia.) Seller purchased the doll from the family of the originally owner. The owner, who was from Galive, Ohio, had this doll and a collection of others she began as a child in the 1930’s .
