6″ Plastic Girl from Nazare. Nazare is located in the historical Estremadura province of Portugal and is one of the most popular seaside resorts on the Silver Coast of Portugal. One of the most distinctive costumes is the woman’s hat of round black felt with a ‘pork pie’ crown, and a large black pom-pom on the side.
The doll was a gift from Lino Restrepo & Gloria Mendoza, who purchased the doll as a gift for me in 2002 while in Lisbon , Portugal.
