11 1/2″ Vinyl Classique Collection Barbie: Romantic Interlude. The doll was 6th in the Designer Collection created by Ann Driskill in 1997.
In the Collector’s Encyclopedia of Barbie the following information is provided: ” Classique 1997 Romantic Interlude Barbie, designed by Ann Driskill wears a midnight black velvety coat-dress with rhinestone buttons, an ivory satin underskirt, and a black hat adorned with black and white feathers. This fashion doll closely resembles Driskill’s one-of-a-kind High Society Barbie auctioned at the Barbie Festival for $6,500.00. This 1997 doll has short bobbed brunette hair.”
I won the doll in a raffle at the Blue Bonnet Bebe Doll Show & Sale in 2013.
