16″ Vinyl Gene Marshall’s “TeaTime at the Plaza”. The doll was a 1999 FAO Schwatz Exclusive Christmas offering. Gene is dressed in a costume from 1943. She is shown with the “Song of Spain” Gene ,who is dressed in the circa 1943 outfit “El Morocco”. The pair originally belonged to a long time San Antonio, Texas doll collector. I purchased the them from Evelyn Martinez of Sequin, Texas in 2020 at the 4th Annual Fall Houston, Texas Doll Show.
