Wedding Day
17″ Resin Wedding Day by Jacqueline Kent in her Town Folk Collection. The dolls came with the following poem:
” She waited most impatiently with nervousness and pride.
To hear the words on her wedding day: You may kiss the bride.
And he, his fingers trembled as he gently touched her veil.
His wedding vows, he took today would strengthen, never pale.
And they, the two together, loving husband and his wife,
Locked hands and walked together T’ward a happy wedded life.”
Ms. Kent is from London, England and has designed a number of different themed dolls. I purchased this dolls in 2004 from The Doll Market.
