11 1/2″ Handmade Cloth Peasant Doll . The doll come with a paper tag which reads: “This doll was hand made in Wichita, Kansas during the Great Depression by ladies who worked at the Domestic Laundry. The dolls were sold to foreign countries in the 1930’s through the Work’s Projects Administration.” The doll originally came from an estate sale in Kansas and I would purchase her in 2013 at the Houston, Texas Blue Bonnet Bebe Doll Show & Sale.
