7 1/2″ Porcelain Woman in Fur Trimmed Coat from Moscow.

7 1/2″ Porcelain Woman from Voronezh Gubernia. ( Voronezh was at one time the largest city in Southern Russia and the economic center of a large fertile region. In the 19th century, Voronezh was the center of the Central Black Earth Region.)

The dolls were made in a factory in St. Petersberg and then dressed in the different Russian regional costumes.  I purchased the pair directly from a seller in Borskijrn Nizhegorodskaja, Russia.
